Dhallywood is called the film industry of Bangladesh. And my theme was Bangladeshi film posters from the 60s to 80s. Now in the digital era we see many printing machines and other devices that can easily print posters. But in the 60s, 70s and 80s century, the posters of all these films were made manually by the artists.
Which is now almost extinct. And since my goal is to make my collection sustainable, so I have used the hand-painted posters of those films in a way that is eco-friendly and chemical-free. For this project, I have collected, wastage and cut piece fabric from a denim factory. And I applied my theme on fabric through Laser print.
